When it comes to education, New Braunfels is top notch and at the top 20% of public schools for ranking, math proficiency, reading and language arts proficiency. New Braunfels public school systems New Braunfels ISD and Comal ISD  earned “Gold Performance Acknowledgements” based on their most recent test scores, and the entire town received an “A-” grade from Niche. Area private schools include: Calvary Baptist Academy, Cross Lutheran School,  New Braunfels Christian Academy, and  St Peter & Paul Catholic School.

Those who love to boat, fish, or be near the water will enjoy living here.  Canyon Lake, The Comal, and Guadalupe Rivers are all excellent options when it comes to outdoor activities.
